How can i open a zip file for photoshop? This is really stressingme out.?

I am trying to down load a photoshop paint brush but each time I try, it comes up as a zip file?

How do i open this or read this?

I've tried opneing it with photoshop, but it just says

its not the right file.

THisis really frustrating me and there is something i would like to get done.

Unzip it with a program such as 7-zip ( http://7-zip.org/ ) and then deal with the contents of it. Photoshop can't do anything while the data is still in the zip archive.

You can't open a zip file with photoshop, you need to unzip it.
You needd something like winrar or winzip to open these type of files.

you need to open the zip first inside you will find the pics extract them then open whatevr was in the zip in photoshop

A ZIP file format is a popular data compression and archival format. A ZIP file contains one or more files that have been compressed, to reduce their file size, or stored as-is.

So basicly a Zip file is a file that has 1 or more other files inside of it... kinda like a a package/box (I'm not talkin in computer lingo.. i'm really talkin about a box).. so you download a box.. and then you wanna put the box inside photoshop.. but you can't.. you'll need to open the box and take the paint brush out... get it? so you need to download a program that can open the zip file and take the brush out.. like winzip or something
